Can I hook a 12V car battery to my P90.

Hi, I have a P90 which has 12 volt DC input via an AC/DC adapter. I want to play it in a park where there is no AC. Can I hook a 12 volt DC car battery to it without harming it? Would I need some sort of adapter to do this? Like one that plugs into a cigarette lighter? Thanks for any feedback.

Yes you can. You will need an inverter to do this. When looking for an inverter make sure you get one that has a continuous power rating higher than that of the P90 (power consumption specs should be either on the P90's power supply, back of the instrument or the manual and it will be a number followed by a 'W' for watts, for example, "50W").

If you're going to plug in any additional devices, i.e. amps, make sure their total power consumption plus the P90's don't go over the inverter's max continuous power rating.
