Here's a helpful topic for those of you with older Clavinovas. This is from an email I received recently:

My son was moving and in the process the movers lost the electrical cord. We have spoken to numerous retailers and they cannot tell us where to find a replacement. Please help. Thank you. B.

After doing some research, I found out what kind of power cord the CLP 880 needs. It is called a Type A Male to C7 connector. I included a couple of pics that I got out of the CLP 880's manual. You'll probably need to go to a cable supply store to find them since I don't think they are used for consumer electronics anymore. Here's a site that I found that sell them for $4.95 USD.

Thank you so much. We found the right cord at the Source. I wonder why the retailers didn't know this but sometimes people over think a situation I guess. However, the Clavinova is back to play mode. I appreciate your help more than I can say. B.
