CLP 340 versus CLP 370

If you own one of these this is the place to talk about them.

CLP 340 versus CLP 370

From what I understand the main difference between these two modesl are:

1. CLP 370 has the "NW" keys.
2. CLP 370 speakers are oriented different resulting in a slightly better sound.

It is my understanding from "googling" on the web, that:

These differences are not worth the price premium that the 370 has over the 340. Thoughts?
It would be better to get a "good" upright versus an entry level grand. Thoughts?
I would be better off getting a good digital versus an upright acoustic due to the fact that a digital can give a grand "touch" than an upright could not. Thoughts?

I am not a piano player ... but my son and daughter are ... so I would like a piano that they can "grow" with, without have to give an arm, a leg, and my first born to get some sort of grand. (Mind you, I have 5 kids, so this may be an option ;)) I also don't have a mansion; hence, space is an issue.

Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!
